SAN JUAN (EFE) – Local authorities were able to get a young man to climb down from a flagpole on the south wing of the Capitol Building in Old San Juan. The man had climbed up the flagpole on Tuesday morning to hoist a flag from the Puerto Rican Popular Army, also known as ‘Los Macheteros,’ and a banner that read: Eye for an eye; bullet for bullet.”...
He noted that the man had climbed up the flagpole to protest Gov. Anibal Acevedo Vila’s decision not to declare a national day of mourning in memory of Ojeda Rios, who died in a shooting with FBI agents on Friday.
The police were able to catch another young man who had climbed up another flagpole in the same area. PRwow
